Thought of the day.

I am a very lucky girl!

I don’t always feel like this, but when I actually take a step back and think about it, I have a wonderful life!

I have two sets of parents who love me dearly. They have their issues but I know that they always mean well and that they’ll always be there for me.

I have fabulous friends who I can call up for a chat any time of the day and who I know will always put a smile on my face and make me feel a million times better.

And I have the most amazing boyfriend, who is downstairs making me brunch at this very second and I love ridiculous amounts.

On top of that are all my colleagues at work, my brother, my sister, my nana etc!

So next time I’m having a down day and feeling sorry for myself I need to remember that I am a lot better off than a lot of people in the world who have nobody to talk to or look out for them…

And I’m so grateful for the people that I have in my life.

Thought of the day.

I want to go on holiday, take a break, get away from it all…

Somewhere fun like Miami or Ibiza, or beautiful like Venice or the French Alps…

Just somewhere that isnt here would be great!!

I’ve been thinking a lot lately about visiting my friends in Australia but I can’t just fly to the other side of the world for a two week holiday, if I’m going that far then I’m staying for at least two months!

And then there’s the roadtrip of a lifetime across America that me and my best friend are planning for when she’s finished university and we’ve both saved some money.

This year I’ll stick to a cheap holiday package with the girls and, fingers crossed, another slightly more expensive holiday with the boyfriend towards the end of the year.
